My girl turned 10 this year. Sigh. Where has the time gone?? When I compare her to the grandson she looks like a big kid, but she's still my little baby girl.
She skipped yet another grade - this year she was put into 6th grade. She has such potential. When she has to work, she works. She can be so focused. She is confident and assertive most of the time. So unlike me. lol I'm so proud of the young lady she is becoming.
For now she still sticks to me, still listens and cares about what I have to say. I want our relationship to stay this way - where we respect each other.
