I think her hair is finally beginning to grow back - she went almost bald!

My mother brought this outfit back from Jamaica so here is Shelb representin' for Jamaica.

Aren't these the cutest little sneakers! The grandma of another little girl gave them to us. When she bought them she didn't realize that they were too small for her granddaughter.

Little Miss Attitude

I think Shelby was mad at me yesterday, probably for sending her to daycare. We had her all strapped into her carseat and her father was getting ready to take her to school when I leaned in to kiss her. She looked at me and turned her head away from me. Oh, no she didn't! When I stepped away she resumed her previous position of looking straight ahead. I leaned in again for another try and she turned away from me again! I couldn't believe it! I did get my kiss though I had to take it.

Shelb's Schedule

In the morning Shelby is the happiest baby! She coos and she smiles and she laughs. In the evening she likes to hear herself talk. I'm sure she's trying to communicate. Sometimes we dialog - I talk to her and she talks back to me.

What She's Doing Lately

1. If you put Shelb at one end of the couch she will push her way to the other end...all while lying on her back, pushing with her feet, and tilting her head backwards.
2. She is much more interactive. She has sounds that she uses to call for attention and she'll reach out and touch now. She's discovered her hands and to a lesser extent her feet. The other day she tried to get her pacifier into her mouth. At least she got it near her face.
